Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you do not agree with them, do not use this website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. By using the Saddlerack.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms.

We will endeavor to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs, we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.

Postage

We endeavor to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however in busy periods this can take a little longer. Postage costs are detailed below; we reserve the right to amend these costs for large or bulky items both within the UK and overseas. Please email or phone if you are concerned about this. All goods are posted using either Recorded First Class with the royal mail or via courier; goods cannot be classified as lost until 14 days after posting. Please note for overseas orders postage can take longer and may be subject to import tax. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.

Specials

All items ordered specially such as those sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation or custom made body protectors are non-returnable. Cancellation must be made within 3 days of placing the order and this MUST be done by telephone on 01303 893659 please request cancellation proof for your records

Payment

CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - The fastest way to pay for immediate despatch (stock dependant). We accept all major credit cards (excluding Diners Club Cards). Cards are not debited until goods are despatched.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can easily be redeemed at the checkout by typing in the two codes printed on the gift voucher in the clearly marked boxes on the checkout page. A voucher can be used as full or part payment. If you do not use up the full amount of your voucher in one transaction our computer system will automatically calculate how much remains on the voucher so as the same codes can be used in your next transaction. Vouchers can also be redeemed in store.

We accept online payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.

OFFERS & PROMOTIONS Please note that when participating in our offers or promotions, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If free postage is offered, it applies to a Standard Delivery only and excludes quoted and overseas deliveries. Saddlerack.co.uk reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time, should circumstances change.

Returns

Please check the condition of your parcel on delivery prior to signing for acceptance. In the event that goods are missing or damaged on arrival please specify against your signature and inform us within 3 working days, otherwise no claim can be considered.

If you return an item to us within 14 days (or 7 Days for sale items) they must be in perfect condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange or refund you with the original price. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Personalised and Special order items, Riding hats, Underwear,DVD's, CD's, Videos and Computer software. Personalised and Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed. . In some circumstances we may accept riding hats back however this must be via prior consent of the manager by telephone. Riding Hats are a safety product and therefore any riding hats that are returned will be subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover the costs of checking the hats are still safe and undamaged for resale.

If a parcel looks damaged on arrival do not sign for it; instead refuse the parcel as damaged during posting.

We offer an extended period of returns at Christmas for goods purchased as Christmas presents. Last return date for Christmas presents is January 15th. You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and you will be responsible for the cost of return unless goods are faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the returned goods until they arrive at our store

You will be refunded the full value of the goods purchased less carriage charge paid. If your original order qualified for free delivery (value over £75) however the items returned brings the value of your order below £75 a carriage charge will be deducted from your refund. If a complete sale is returned and refunded from an order originally over £75 you will also incur a carriage charge.

Returning Waste Electronic & Electrical Goods

In line with new WEEE regulations, we offer a new for old return service for Electronic & Electrical goods. When customers purchase new electrical products, such as clippers or electric fencing from Saddlerack.co.uk we will accept the customer’s old product(s) for safe disposal.

We only accept waste items equivalent to those bought, within 28 days of purchase. When returning WEEE items customers will be asked to provide a receipt as proof of purchase. For customer purchases made via our mail-order service (including telephone and internet orders) all waste electronic items must be returned in person to The Saddle Rack,Hawkinge, Kent. We do not accept returned electronic goods via the post. Old items will only be accepted if they are beyond repair, i.e. waste.

Contract & Pricing

When you place an order to purchase goods from Saddlerack.co.uk you will be sent a confirmation email containing details of your order. We also accept orders by telephone and a confirmation email can be sent at your request. A contract between you and The Saddle Rack exists only when the order has been accepted and payment processed.

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of U.K. You agree, as do we, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

All of our products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to edit or remove items from our site, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If for any reason we have to cancel an order it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately or offered an alternative. All delivery dates are estimates.

We make every effort to ensure the pictures used to illustrate products on our website are accurate; in some circumstances pictures are used for illustrative purposes only where product photographs are not available. If you are at all unsure about the item you are buying please phone us for details. If you believe the item you have purchased was represented incorrectly on our site we will provide you with a full refund and reimburse your postage back to us.

We make every effort to maintain the prices shown on our Website. Prices however are liable to increase beyond our control and therefore we reserve the right to discontinue items or to amend prices when necessary. If the cost of your order differs from the prices originally quoted, we will contact you, either by telephone or email, to request your instructions on how to proceed. Prices and special offers listed on our website may differ from those in our shop. We regret that we are not able to offer the same discounts on items purchased in store.

All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate, where this is applicable (20% at present)

Hygiene

Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974)

Please note: For Hygiene reasons, Underwear and earrings are non-returnable.

Customs

Goods ordered from Saddlerack.co.uk for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, these will be levied once the parcel reaches it's destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.

Your Account

When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately.

When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed.

Saddlerack.co.uk reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately. Saddlerack.co.uk does not charge for items until they are ready to despatch.

The contents of the website may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent.

You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using the website while connected to the Internet.

You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.

The information contained in the website is for information purposes. The Saddle Rack is not providing any recommendations or endorsements to any product or services promoted on the website.
